To Florida:
Rasmus Kupari Robert Hagg
To LAK:
Kevin Bahl Nikita Zadorov
LA Agrees. With $2M UFA signing Teddy Blueger sitting in the press box, we had 1 too many forwards in an ideal world. Kupari re-rating up to a 73 OV made him unable to go to the farm for another year, despite not requiring waivers. This made it difficult to give everyone enough ice time on the pro to continue to develop properly, with Lundell and Glass being the priority. We were also uncomfortable with Hagg being in the #6 slot, so an upgrade on him was necessary. Bahl fits the bill for us as we can farm him this year, and he has plenty of runway to develop into a solid defensive defenseman with 91 DF already and high PO. Zadorov, ratings wise, is an excellent bottom pairing defender and should be able to help on the PK. His salary is awful, but this year we have a net cap savings but subtracting a forward and farming a dman. Thanks to Jay for the easy talks, this came together surprisingly quickly.

FLA agrees. Needed someone who could play as a top-six winger after shedding Vrana for cap reasons, so Kupari fits the bill and should get more ice-time on a rebuilding team.
Harris will fit into Bahl's top 4 spot, and shedding Zadorov's deal will give me more flexibility to move out of a rebuild quickly after this season.
