Torey Krug - Edmonton

Edmonton's top defenseman, Torey Krug, was looking forward to his big payday this summer during UFA, when he received a phone call from GM Travis Chorostkowski.
"Get in the limo, I will explain later" said Travis on the phone.
Krug looked outside, and to his surprise was a pearl white stretched Hummer waiting outside of his home.
He hopped in, and the only thing in the limo beside himself and a stretched out wet bar, was GM Travis Chorostkowski.
The two talked for a good while as the limo drove South for close to 2 hours. After a good conversation, GM Travis got straight to the business.
He thumped the window and the Limo driver pulled over. They were in Red Deer Alberta.
"Where are we Torey?" Travis asked.
"Fucking Red Deer, but why???" asked Krug.
"It's symbolic.... We're just past half way to Calgary. IF you do not give us the opportunity to keep you on our team, I will pick you up in UFA, use you for a year, and then I will move you the entire way to....CALGARY" sneered GM Chorostkowski, who then hopped out and grabbed a long rope-ladder that was hanging down from a helicopter.... As the Chopper lifted off, he yelled to Torey; "Just think about that for a bit..."

Torey Krug had a long, quiet drive home and couldn;t escape the sickly feeling he felt in his stomach. He reached out to his agent, and the agent present a demand to the Oilers that very night:

Torey Krug wants: $9.8mil per year, 3 or 4 years(GM choice), and no signing bonus required to stay with the Oilers.
