On the seedier side of the already seedy city of Boston, under the cover of darkness away from the paparazi, Taylor Hall visited one of his favourite dive bars where he could just let loose. It wasn't a very busy that night at "Glory Hole 6", and he considered leaving immediately. It had been a tough year personally for Taylor, who was unhappy about being on a very lackluster Bruins team headed by an equally lackluster Bruins management squad. He ordered a gin and tonic, and about halfway into his drink he noticed a wrinkly, small, dried out pinky finger presenting itself at "Glory Hole 6"'s famous "Wall of Wonder". Curious about why somebody would present a finger through the small opening, he went to inspect it at a better distance. As he got closer, he realized that it was not actually a finger, just a very, VERY sad site. Something so withered from lack of use, and obvious aging couldn't possible expect to be the star of anybody's night, no matter how much desperation came into play. As Taylor was reconsidering his life, and all decisions that he had made to lead him to this one very regrettable point in his existence, he heard a weeping from behind the thinly insulated wall. "Are you okay?" he asked... The mysterious person on the other side of the wall spoke with a broken voice, holding off sobs as he explained his personal life to this complete stranger on the other side of the wall. The "finger" was pulled back and replaced by an eye, with each person only able to observe the other's single eye in the dimly lit pleasure zone. Minutes of heartfelt discussion turned to hours, and before long the waking sun was rising, bringing a subtle beauty that few ever got to take in at Glory Hole 6. Breaking the unwritten rule, Taylor Hall, and his new friend, decided to meet up that morning, knowing so much about each other, each other's pain, but still not seeing each other or sharing names. What a surprise it was when Taylor found out who was on the other side of the wall that beautifully painful evening. Days later, Taylor's agent contacted the Bruins with a change of heart. Rather than go to Unrestricted free Agency, Taylor Hall would offer to stay in Boston for 3 years at a salary of $5,500,000, with a signing bonus of $1,650,000.
