Kirill is my favourite player in the league, but the combination of his contract status and a terrible OG card roll meant that I had almost no control over his new deal and had to move him. Nylander is a top-line forward under contract for 4 years, Dach is a young center having a great year, and Zary's having a promising season in the AHL. This deal hurts to make, but I think the cost certainty of the move, ability to maintain team depth, and keeping Kirill out of the East will make the deal worth it.
