To MTL:
D- Zac Jones
D-Joni Jurmo (p)
RW-William Dufour (P)
NYL 1st 2024
To NYL:
D-Vince Dunn
To a bit of time to decide whether to move Dunn or not. Basically came down to this Graves, Toews are my #1,2. Jokihariju is younger and better Offensively, Pettersson is better defensively , same age and better contract. So realistically done is my 5th D man.. I have Cole who is locked up for 4 years and probaly not moveable who is also same defensively and payed less. So getting Zac Jones (who is young, great skater ( even thoe I guess his rates don't show it) a future 1st and a prospect forward in Dufour who is 20 and having great year in the Q and a 6'3 19 year old D man in Jurco just seemed to fit. Thanks Lennart once again!!

Thanks Lennart once again!! Islanders agree to the above trade. We now have the cap space to acquire a really good D-man that will give us great depth this year and one less problem to worry about coming off season as two of our defenders will be UFA:s. Judging from the test seasons Dunn has the potential to rerate very well all four years he’s under control, so giving up pieces that wouldn't fit in pro for (many) years feels ok. Thx Todd!
