Colorado agrees.
As we are struggling and Jake boy came into market for nominal fee, we thought to give it a go. Can't go much worse than this

We should be ok with his salary remaining of his contract and hopefully can help our bottom lines.

Canucks agree to the deal above as it is.

We almost performed a fee buyout on Virtanen in the pre-preseason, but kept him around. His contract has become a bit of a drag on our finances, considering he was only getting 4-9 minutes a night. With the arrival of Zach Aston-Reese, and Mats Zuccarello, Virtanen was pushed to the scratch list, and is much better off somewhere else.
