Batherson is the headline piece as a 23-year-old top six winger, and I'm a big fan of Adam Lowry. It'll hurt to lose Brandon Carlo, but I need a more offensive defenseman on my blueline.

I confirm this deal,

If Batherson was NHL rerate eligible I wouldn't make this deal, but he isn't.

Facts are my team is one of the best defensively and getting all my offense from the back end. Carlo will pick up the defence that Lowry gone loses, and having Garland and Mantha to put pucks in net is what I desperately need. Thanks for the deal Jay, great talks as always
