Islanders agree to this trade, admitting it’s done with all heart and very little brain. 🙈
However, it’s not only about putting the Identity line together. Cizikas is a great third/fourth line center, physical with good skating, great FO and good DF at a decent cost. Acquiring and assembling the Identity line will hopefully help us improving the poor goal against average. These talks started long before I got Martin and Clutterbuck and Jussi for sure realized Cizikas’ value to me increased after that, but I’m still happy we could come to an agreement after all this time.
