Well it's no surprise that when GM Mike Bell took over with all his experience and knowledge of sim hockey under his belt that he was going to be the type of GM that wanted to be in a building mode of many years with his team! For Mr.Bell, the time is NOW and he wants wins and the chance at the cup! So when came time to pick the 1st ever franchise player, the one that would bring us to the promise land would be none other than the best rated player in all of the league and true No.1 goalie Andrei Vasivleskiy. Then was a series of picks that would bring balance throughout the first 3 lines, starting with 2 top players and face-off specialists in O'Reilly who will be named team captain and Trocheck, bot signed long term! Then we wanted solid dman to anchor in front of Vasly, and getting the likes of veteran Johnson and Mayfield with Zadorov, Oleksiak and Nemeth will serve just that! Then came Beauvillier which to my opinion was a steal at the spot we took him! Hornkvist and Nuggent-Hopkins will bring the scoring touch to the team.
All in all GM Mike Bell thinks this team can win this year! Minor additions could be made and for those who knows the GM know that he never shies away from a big splash in trading!
The farm will need to be worked on as we lack a few key components to be a contending team this year!
