The time has come for new management in Detroit, Steve Yzerman, old Steve Y, an era is going to it's end. When this news struck down like a nuclear bomb at the news a few weeks back many has the voices been on who the replacement would be? Someone of the other old timers perhaps, there has been rumors surrounding Chris Chelios among other and even Nicklas Lidstrom and Niklas "Kronwalled" Kronwall was rumored to be joining in as the new generalmanager just last week, and the rumors was right about one thing, it is a Swede that much was right but it's not any of the named ones. It's a completelly new name, and for many a totally unknown character, Mathias Lundgren! A 42 year old native of Timra, Sweden. Also the home of recent wings captain Henrik Zetterberg! Mathias, also known as the "Crazy Swede" in some circles, is not well known but he has experience from leading teams, for several years he was a strong by stander at his sons games and practises as the boy played hockey for Timra IK in Sweden. Many are the sceptical voices heard after these news were made public earlier today, many think that this "Crazy Swede" will run the franchise to in the dirt from it may never rise again, we here at the Detroit News have tryed to reach Mathias but has been unable too. But be sure, more will come.
