To Nashville:
- Oscar Klefbom

In one of the biggest deals this off-season, I move out pending (maybe) UFA defenseman Oscar Klefbom. I get a dman that is an RFA at year's end so more cost, team control. It is tough moving a premier dman like Klefbom but I feel this sets me up for now and in the future too so I am happy that Kyle and myself were able to reach an agreement. Thanks!

Nashville accepts.

We have a chance to go for it this year and our team had success last year with a strong D core and this takes it to another level with Makar and Klefbom. Valimaki had a ceiling with Nashville and it's a price to pay but this is now a full year rental with a chance to possibly keep him after this because we are financially stable enough to do so.

Give you credit Chris, trade talks were good but you drive a hard bargain.
