Flying high Flyers

Well we enter the offseason after a disappointing 1st round exit (once again) and have decided to act quick on figuring out why we lost. Lack of a 3rd line and a true shutdown defenseman seemed to be the problem. Well Philly fans nothing is for sure yet but rumours out of the office have it that GM Gosal has a few pending trades that are all but finalized and will be released to the public once the trading freeze is uplifted. We hear he has acquired some depth and a shutdown defenseman and also a big ticket forward from another eastern conference team. We talked to Gary and he had this to say, "Our goal is the cup. We have not made it past the 1st round in the last 2 seasons so we had to carefully diagnose the lack of success. We have lots of success in the regular season but the playoffs are a whole different animal. We needed more playoff type players and we believe we can acquire those pieces soon."

The biggest rumour out of Philly is Quinn Hughes. Has GM Gosal lost his mind and did he really trade him? He had this to say, "No comment".
