To Tampa Bay:
William Nylander Radko Gudas (50% retained)
To Minnesota:
Frank Nazar (P) Luke Evangelista Evgenii Dadonov 2024 1st (NSH) 2024 4th (PHI)
Minnesota confirms. The rebuild in Minnesota is well underway. After a very disappointing stretch of catapulting out of a playoff spot over the last month, we want to shift our focus to the future and in order to do it effectively we had to give up an elite star in Nylander to recoup what we feel is a great package of futures. Thank you Colin for the trade talks!

Tampa agrees.
There was a lot of thought put into this deal. I was excited to eventually grow Nazar into a top 6 player, but, Nylander is a perfect fit. We were missing a top 6 scorer that can be effective in our own zone as well, so maybe this trade can help push for a playoff spot down the stretch, but this is a "re-tooling for next year" move. Gudas will help solidify the blueline until season's end. Thank you for the great talks Wolf!
