Finally an old school hockey trade, just players, no picks and/or prospects.
Been looking for a top notch offensive D for months and Detroit was willing to sell one. Mostly as Detroit has few offensive top D's and to resign Reilly will be very costly.
Johnson and Hajek are very balanced Ds both and for sure help to balance Detroit's D corps.
Talks with Mathias went for days and finally we reached the agreement 🤝
