Carlsson will be a superstar for years (for my cross-state rival to boot) and it sucks to give him up, but I have a decent shot of making it out of the East this season and owe it to this current group to make a run. Getting the best goaltender in the league in Vasilevskiy at 50% is huge, and Gourde is a top forward who I can choose to extend if all goes well.
