To Philadelphia
Oliver Ekman Larson Philip Grubauer
To Ottawa
Aaron Ekblad Chris Driedger
Well change is continuing in Ottawa. We are getting younger in this deal. Losing OEL was not an easy decision. He has been one of the top Dman in the PFHL for the past 2 seasons but we think Ekblad at only 27 will be as good if not better in the years to come. It was also time for a change in nets, Grubauer gave us 2 great seasons but this year he as been sporadic and not up to par with the past years. And again we get younger and a goalie that wants to sign long term at a reasonable price. We are again working at controlling the cap of our team while being able to retain most of our UFA's.

We accept. Giving up Ekblad was hard but OEL has been one of the best defenseman in the PFHL for the past 2 seasons and is doing it again this year. Grubauer was someone we've been eyeing since last season and we think he just needs a change of scenery and will play very well behind 1 of the best defenses in the league. Pleasure doing business with ya Mike.
