Montreal agrees to the trade. There was about a 10 % chance we were going to resign Orlov as we have a lot of good young D-men who are looking for Pro playing Time. We believe ratings wise Dillon is close enough to Orlov and shouldn’t lose to much on the defensive side We will miss Valeri Nichuskin but Jesse Ylonen needs a spot in the pros after a very good start on the farm. We welcome back prospect Kyrou to the roster and add another 2nd this year ( 7 picks in top 64 now) and additional 3rd in 2026 . Raska will take Ylonen spot on the farm.
