It has been a disastrous start to the season for the Hurricanes. The GM/Team President Wes Mucyk is on the hot seat. The coach would've been fired, but the organization has made it clear that is not an option. It is just not financially something that can be afforded.
As a favor to someone with the team, in hopes of keeping fans happy, at a recent Carolina home game, Taylor Swift was booked to perform. However just 3 minutes into the game, the Hurricanes probably were already down by 7 or something, the performer was seen leaving the building. T Swift" Wow, those guys really suck. I can not be associated with something that awful.
I believe I saw a Kim Mitchell cover band down the street that can come in here. I am sure the GM can spin it some way to sell it. I mean he sold everyone on this garbage he has on the ice. Does he even watch the sport?"
Right now, with the way things are going, Roy Halladay, former pitcher, you take one of his season's as a Blue Jay, and he may end up with more complete games then the Hurricanes #1 goalie this season.
So what is the issue in Carolina? Is it the penalties, which are a staple of a Paul Maurice coached team. The abysmal job done in the net. Or are there simply too many rookies on this team, which has 4? Rookie defensive play maybe. It is not their offense as Dylan Cozens currently leads this team in scoring with 16 points on the season. Most people around the hockey world are pointing at GM/Team President Wes Mucyk who must be feeling the heat in his seat.
