The Flyers have revamped their team in the offseason first off by acquiring superstar Johnny Gaudreau. We believe we needed to add more firepower in the offseason as our offense went dry in the post season. The team also acquired veteran Adam Lowry who is expected to play big minutes on the 3rd line C position. "Last year our depth was weak. We have addressed this position now and expect big things from this team." We also went out and acquired Marchenko and Mcbain in order to make our minor league team relevant this season and hope to see these two eventually make the jump to the big leagues.
Nothing short of the cup is the goal this season. Gm Gosal has made that very clear with his moves this offseason. Free agency was a bit quiet due to lack of capspace but Philly was still able to acquire Trevor Van Reimsdyk. He will be a good fit on the 2nd penalty kill.
The Flyers will be bringing back most of the same core back for this upcoming season as they did have success by winning their 1st ever Metropolitan Division. Expect another divisiion title in the bag for this Philadelphia team and hopefully we will see them get out of the 1st round this season.
