Well, the trade deadline went bye without much to talk about in the Nations Capital. Gm Mike Bell had been trying to land a Dman with high PO that he could develop for some time but the prices where very high. But with the team being as hot as it has been all year and still on top on the league standings, GM Bell decided to stay put without disturbing the chemistry of the team. We have some great young talent, namely Beniers and Zemula, waiting to jump to the pro team next year that are doing extremely well in the Farm system. Also a few blue chips prospects that should make the jump to the American league next year. The Belleville Senators have also been doing well. For a while playoffs was looking out of grasp but after mud season the team turned things around and are now sitting 4th in the East with 8 wins in a row. So all in all, Ottawa as a whole is looking great for this year and years to come.
