With the injury to Kirill Kaprizov the Seattle Kraken changed the motive going into the deadline from potentially adding to just standing pat, with John Gibson becoming a free agent that we didnt have any intention of resigning we we on the lookout for another goalie and we made a deal with winnipeg getting Cam Talbot, he's signed for another year after this so we'll have him aboard for next year we needed a stop gap beyond this season while we look to develope Jesper Wallstedt next season. We wish Gibson well, as he was traded to the Jets who later flipped him to Dallas just hours before the deadline.
