LA agrees. We've had a boner over Lundell for a long time. While Wheeler is eligible to sign an extension, being a cap team, it was near impossible to bring him back. Lundell and Glass will solidify the top 2 center position of the future as LA pivots to the future.

Wheeler will bring more offense for the Blues. We currently have one of the worst offense of the league. He will be back next season for us. Yurov was a top 10 talent in the 2022 draft class. The only thing that scares us is that he's from Russia so we might have to wait a few seasons to see him become a pro.
The 10 millions cash will be important for the organization. We will be able to resign Marner, Faulk, Wheeler, etc..

Lundell is a special player but it had to be done.
