Deja Vu in New Jersey. Last pre-season the Devils were almost unbearable to watch. They looked like a peewee team. However, once the puck dropped on the regular season, the tea, grew up. Quick. They remained competitive most of the season, eeking into the playoffs. The end of season slide continued in to the first round exit.
This season has started as pretty much a mirror image of last year. Looking like the Devils team that were tops in the league in a several areas. The few questions that will inevitably worm their way into your brain might be:
1) Will the Devils be able to keep pace for the ENTIRE season?
2) Will they make the playoffs for a second year in a row?
3) Will GM Bollentin make some moves at all?
Only time will tell.
