PFHL hockey action is back as players take to the ice in pre-season action. Carolina Hurricanes Head Coach Paul Maurice had the following to say following this morning's practice "we're going to try a couple different things here with our guys during the pre-season. Some variations of what will be our lines this upcoming season will be thrown out there. We will get a few looks at what our next year's group (2023-2024 lines) can do. What the lines look like if we lose certain guys to injury, some shakeup options, or if guys are playing too much, options"
So far during this pre-season it's been the farm goalies who have got the starts through 2 games. Fans have had to wait to see the offseason acquisitions of Dmen Ryan Pulock or Adam Pelech as neither player have suited up thus far. Last season's top 2 forwards have yet to see the ice in Andre Burakovsky and Captain Pierre Luc-Dubois. Young Dominik Bokk is getting time on the 4th line before joining the Wolves. Maurice"it's a good time to experiment with different looks. Fans can expect to see what should be our regular lines in the teams final 3 or 4 preseason games."
We hear that Maurice should be throwing out next years lines somewhere in the games 5-11 range. Word has it that they should play in 2-3 straight games.
