I am fully aware it's an absolutley horrible contract, but I now have the cap space and my blue line is in desperate need of support. And if Subban will be anywhere close to his 54 points, 125 hits and 94 shots blocked last season I will consider this a good deal after all. Thanx for the easy talks Jussi!

Colorado agrees. Made more sense Subban go to Islanders and fulfill what he can do. Can be still very useful and effective, especially players around him like Miller, Tavares, Forsberg etc...
Unfortunately at Colorado that is not possible at this moment.
Deangelo will come and fill the bottom D pair position in Pro. Liukas could become decent bottom F physical player, so let's see.
