Man does it hurt to trade three original Islanders in exchange for Tavres, but I have to look beyond my own feelings and see the great addition Tavares will be to our team. Lee was a big disappointment last season and even though we would gladly have kept Nelson on the roster adding a star like Tavares has to have a price. We actually also feel we upgrade in net with Sorokin. His primary stats may be lower than Varly's but the primary/secondary average is way better, so we hope to see a better performance from our new goalie this year. With our captain leaving we will also name Tavares the new captain.
