After adding Sidney Crosby to their roster, the San Jose Sharks went on an absolute heater with a record of 31-11-3 in his first 45 games with the Sharks. But things have been going sideways in San Jose recently, after those 45 games the Sharks went on a 4 game losing stream that snowballed into a 6-11-1 record over their past 18 games. The results of this losing streak? San Jose currently sits in the 2nd wildcard spot in the Western Conference, 2 points ahead of Minnesota with 1 game in hand.
The deadline came and went for San Jose, GM Rensby-Wills was attending his bachelor party putting the teams priorities on the backburner.
“We made our deadline moves earlier in the season, this team is ready for a cup run. This bad stretch of games is just shit puck luck, a few of the guys are still hungover from the bachelor party.” -Rensby-Wills
Some fans were downright pissed no moves were made, hearing that Rensby-Wills was partying with his friends didn’t help either.
“FEED HIM TO THE SHARKS!!” -Angry Sharks Fan, probably named Chad.
Regardless of the quiet deadline, San Jose is still fighting for a playoff spot. It’s looking like they could finish anywhere from 3rd in the pacific to just missing playoffs. Should they miss playoffs this inactive deadline could be the main reason why. But do not lose faith Sharks fans, if the Sharks regain their form that they had when Crosby first came to the team they will surely be among the cup contenders.
Will that happen? Only time will tell.

I like the centralized font for some reason. Screw left indentation!
