What a year it has been for the Ottawa Senators. The season started with high expectations as we had the number 1 and highest rated goalie in the league and a good lineup of players. Everything that could go wrong did. We where racking up the loses one after another, and the Sens where last in the league. Everyone who knows GM Mike Bell know he does not back down or quit. It was trading time so GM Bell got his cell and started to send some offers. Out went our no.1 goalie and our no.1 Centerman and we started rebuilding our D core. Hellabuck came in with Gaudreau. That did not work so in came Hyman, Rust, Seguin, OEL and recently acquired Grubauer who replaced Hellabuck. 2 solid performances from him with wins makes us think that we finaly have our legitimate no.1 goalie. As of now, we are 1 point behind 3rd spot in our division, battling with 6 other team's bellow us. It's going to be a fight till the end for a playoff birth. The Sens won't back down from this fight.
