The proposal this morning surprised us and affected the rest of the day. Jones will without a doubt develop into an even more fantastic defender. However he is not working the way we hoped for as we sent Toews and Jokiharju for him 18 games ago. I have been trying to get hold of Fiala For a long time and as the opportunity opened to acquire him along with a defender performing as well as Jones for us the short term upside just is too big to worry about the future. Thanx for good talks Mathias and good luck to us both!



Okey, shit this just acctually happend, sry. Detroit agrees to the above stated trade, never in a million years did we think we would move Fiala and for a defender being the main piece coming our way, but we were dealt a bad hand during the UFA decision makings, three defenders refused to resign and to land Jones to solidify our top pair, Morrissey - Jones, the price was Fiala so be it, Larsson for old man Ryan and a 2nd rounder, is probably more then we would recive for Larsson anyway down the road, so we loose at offense but gain at defense. Damn talks Lennart, but finally we found common ground, may the force be with us.
