GM Houghton has made his first big move as General Manager of the Dallas Stars.
It is reported that he has hired 2x PHL champion and his younger brother Chad Houghton as AssistantGeneral Manager TO the General Manager.
Chad will preform menial tasks like getting coffee, filling the photocopier, cleaning the bathrooms, among other similar tasks that an Assistant TO the General Manager would do.
It is also reported that he will act as proxy for he upcoming dispersal draft as well.
When asked about the hire the GM had this to say, "I needed to bring in someone with some kind of winning pedigree into the organization, we are the Dallas Stars after all. We also all know that I haven't won a thing in a decade and a half."
We also got a brief word with the new Assistant TO the General Manger, "I'm really looking forward to this opportunity to help build this organization from the ground up, I never got this chance in my PHL experience, so this opportunity excites me."
To which the GM retorted, "That's what she said"
